2013 OneBeacon Scholarship Winners Announced

We’re excited to announce the recipients of this year’s college scholarships! OneBeacon has awarded sixteen $2,000 scholarships – eight to OneBeacon employees’ children and eight to the children of our distribution partners. Here is the list of this year’s winners:

OneBeacon’s scholarship program is managed by Scholarship Management Services^®, a nonprofit scholarship program administrator, and is funded by the OneBeacon Charitable Trust. OneBeacon to Host Investor Information Meeting: 6.07.13

As a reminder, OneBeacon Insurance Group, Ltd. (NYSE: OB) will host an investor information meeting this week:

Date: Friday, June 7, 2013
Time: 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Place: InterContinental New York Times Square; 300 West 44th St; NYC

CEO Mike Miller, CFO Paul McDonough and EVPs Dennis Crosby and Paul Romano will present prepared remarks, and then join other members of executive management for a Q&A session. The meeting will also be broadcast via webcast; login instructions for the webcast will be posted on the Investor Relations section of the company website. A replay of the meeting will also be available on the website. Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. for those attending in person.

OneBeacon Government RisksTo Speak At 2013 Annual PRIMA Conference

OneBeacon Government Risks’ (OBGR), Dennis Molenaar, Vice President of Risk Control, and Kenny Smith, Risk Management Specialist, will present at the upcoming Public Risk Management Association’s (PRIMA) 2013 annual conference on Monday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 5, 2013.  The conference will be held at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina in Tampa, Florida.
