Jennifer Weinstein, Assistant Vice President, Management Liability Claims, will be a panelist on the upcoming May 12 Webinar entitled “Navigating the Pitfalls and Challenges of COVID-19 and the Post-Quarantine Workplace.”
Moderated by Mercedes Colwin, Founding Partner, GRSM New York Office, the panel will focus on the changes that are expected in the work force as the country emerges from shelter in place ordinances, including measures that employers are expected to implement to safeguard employees. The panel will analyze the various screening measures and the attendant pitfalls of such actions. This panel will also discuss the claims on the horizon stemming from adverse employment actions taken in response to the economic shutdown.

Earlier this week, OneBeacon Entertainment, Financial Institutions, Management Liability and Technology attended and sponsored the annual PLUS Conference held in National Harbor, Maryland. It was a great forum to connect with colleagues and develop new relationships, while keeping up with the latest trends and news in the industry. Additionally, the group hosted a cocktail hour where they caught up with their producer partners, while enjoying appetizers and cocktails at the Pienza Marketplace.

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting producers in Phoenix, AZ for our second open house of the year. Eight of our businesses were on hand to discuss their products and services, while enjoying lite bites and drinks during a warm Phoenix evening at the Culinary Dropout. Nelson Kefauver has joined OneBeacon Insurance Group as President of our Management Liability business unit, reporting to Executive Vice President Paul Brehm. In his new role, Kefauver will lead a specialty underwriting team focused on providing management liability solutions targeting a broad range of not‐for‐profit organizations and private for‐profit companies throughout the U.S.
