On Wednesday, May 29 we’ll be sponsoring and exhibiting at the Health Rosetta Phoenix Wake-Up Call: Ending the Collateral Damage.

OneBeacon Inland Marine recently participated in and sponsored the IMA Foundation’s Kansas City Pickleball event. This year, the event raised $25,000, with proceeds going to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting producers in Phoenix, AZ for our second open house of the year. Eight of our businesses were on hand to discuss their products and services, while enjoying lite bites and drinks during a warm Phoenix evening at the Culinary Dropout. Underwriting teams from Entertainment, Environmental, Financial Services, Government Risks, International Marine Underwriters, Inland Marine, Management Liability and Technology were the hosts for the evening. These events provide great opportunity see colleagues and make new connections. Thanks to all who were able to join us – it was a pleasure to host you!

For the 16th consecutive year, we will be awarding 16 college scholarships for the upcoming academic year to high-school seniors funded through the OneBeacon Charitable Trust. Eight of these $2,000 awards will be available to the children of the brokers, agencies and wholesalers doing business with OneBeacon. The remaining eight awards will be available to children of OneBeacon employees.

Nelson Kefauver has joined OneBeacon Insurance Group as President of our Management Liability business unit, reporting to Executive Vice President Paul Brehm. In his new role, Kefauver will lead a specialty underwriting team focused on providing management liability solutions targeting a broad range of not‐for‐profit organizations and private for‐profit companies throughout the U.S.
