OneBeacon Insurance Group is seeking students to join our 2021 Summer Internship Program!
On Friday, October 2, we will virtually attend the career fair at the Carlson School of Management where we’ll be on the lookout for students interested in the Finance or Corporate Internal Audit internship.
On October 15, we will attend the fair at Wentworth Institute of Technology for students who want to join our IT Internship.
Be sure to drop by our booth for a chance to be selected!
This summer, we’re pleased to welcome two law clerks to the OneBeacon Corporate Legal team. Ran Lu (University of Minnesota Law School) and Brian Ortiz (University of Iowa Law School) joined us this month as part of the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice (TCDIP) 1L Rotation Clerkship program.
TCDIP is a non-profit organization “comprised of leading Twin-Cities employers with a vision to create a vibrant and inclusive legal community and a mission to strengthen the efforts of member organizations to attract, recruit, advance, and retain attorneys of color.” More information can be found on the organization’s website at http://diversityinpractice.org/about.

OneBeacon’s Ryan Sardelli will be speaking as a panelist at the Verisk Velocity conference in Jersey City, NJ tomorrow, October 18. Ryan and two other industry professionals will participate in a session titled ‘The Future of Cyber Insurance’ which will focus on the trends impacting cyber insurance today and new underwriting solutions.

We had the pleasure of hosting our producer partners in Seattle, WA for our final Product Fair of 2019! A.W.G. Dewar’s Chairman, Dana Tufts, recently received an award from the National Business Officers Association for Outstanding Support of Independent Schools. This award is given to individuals who have generously supported independent schools and their business officers. Dana quickly noted that the recognition was truly a team effort and that he accepted on behalf of the entire Dewar team.
