In his new role, Joe will lead our entertainment business, working primarily out of our Los Angeles office. With 35 years of specialty experience, including more than 24 years focused exclusively on the entertainment segment, we are excited to welcome Joe to the team. For the past 10 years, he served as National Entertainment Manager at Chubb, and previously spent much of his career at other leading carriers managing all lines of film, theater, live entertainment and contingency risks.

Kevin Koehler has joined OneBeacon as President of our new Financial Institutions business, reporting to John Iannotti, President of Professional Liability. Koehler will lead a team providing professional liability, management liability and fidelity coverages targeting all classes of financial institutions.

OneBeacon Healthcare Group Represented at ASHRM

Linda McSmith, Assistant Vice President, OneBeacon Healthcare Group, will participate as a panelist at the upcoming American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Indianapolis. She will join three additional risk management specialists in a session titled, “Network Security and Privacy: Dealing with Cyber Exposures,” which will review the range of cyber risks that particularly impact the healthcare industry, and will discuss possible mitigation strategies. OneBeacon Healthcare Group’s David Pulley a New Board Member of CABC

David Pulley of OneBeacon Healthcare Group recently attended the American Association of Birth Centers (AABC) Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. While at the conference, David was approached by the Executive Director of the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC) and was formally asked to become a member of the CABC’s Board of Governors. Shortly after the invitation, he was nominated and appointed Treasurer of the Board of Governors. As a Governor of the Board, David will be responsible for helping to set strategic direction for CABC and for the oversight of all CABC operations.

OneBeacon Introduces Liability Coverage for Film, Radio and Live Theatrical Presentations

OneBeacon has introduced a new professional liability product – Producer Plus Liability. This innovative product provides liability insurance designed to meet the needs faced by producers of entertainment and industrial films, radio, and live theater.

The robust, flexible solution will be backed by our specialized media liability team to address the marketplace need.
