Linda McSmith, Assistant Vice President, OneBeacon Healthcare Group, will participate as a panelist at the upcoming American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Indianapolis. She will join three additional risk management specialists in a session titled, “Network Security and Privacy: Dealing with Cyber Exposures,” which will review the range of cyber risks that particularly impact the healthcare industry, and will discuss possible mitigation strategies. David Pulley of OneBeacon Healthcare Group recently attended the American Association of Birth Centers (AABC) Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. While at the conference, David was approached by the Executive Director of the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC) and was formally asked to become a member of the CABC’s Board of Governors. Shortly after the invitation, he was nominated and appointed Treasurer of the Board of Governors. As a Governor of the Board, David will be responsible for helping to set strategic direction for CABC and for the oversight of all CABC operations.
